Born Quan’Dai Davis in Cincinnati Ohio. Cincinnati’s Very Own Dai or C.V.O Dai, is a monicker crafted from his hometown pride and birth name. C.V.O Dai discovered his passion for music at an early age listening to classic hip hop artists like Tupac, Jay-Z, The Lox and Nas with his parents. As an adolescent he developed his own flavor for music and quickly gravitated to the likings of Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne and Drake. C.V.O Dai or Dai as he’s affectionately referred to relocated to Atlanta, GA as a high school sophomore where he played football and was an award-winning varsity wrestling team captain. C.V.O Dai started rapping in the midst of the pandemic and released his first independent EP at the tender age of 17 just months before his high school graduation.
As an artist C.V.O Dai’s persona is an authentic medley of rawness from his Midwestern upbringing and a melodic club cadence inspired by his coming of age years in Atlanta.
Now at the age of 21 his impressive evolution can be witnessed in each bar and his new releases are undeniable demonstrations of his growth as an artist. The range of his melody, maturity of his subject matter and the effortless crowd control at his stage performance are all clear displays that C.V.O Dai is well on his way to becoming an international household name.
